Best Western Plus Ocean View Resort

We got the ocean view room with the jacuzzi . Nice. Quiet in early February. You can see the ocean from the toilet. Room is clean and maintained well. The breakfast restaurant is okay but you are also walking distance to the main action in town so easy to get variety for your eating options. We were on the second floor and initially I wanted to be higher. But the view is great and while on the balcony I could say hi to those walking the promenade.

Always stay there when I'm staying in Seaside. Nice hotel, the ocean view rooms with fireplaces and kitchenettes are really nice. They have a restaurant in house but I've never eaten there. This place is far enough from the downtown area to be quiet but not so far you can't walk over to shop, eat or just walk around. Right on the beach, right on the beach walkway. One of my favorite Best Westerns and I have stayed in dozens and dozens.

I spent a week here recently over Christmas season - of all things. I was satisfied with the rooms. They were clean and bedding felt clean and “crisp”. Loved going for free coffee in the lobby, ate at the restaurant (which was pleasant) and used the hot tub and swimming pool, despite the cold weather. Everything was as I expected but what absolutely surprised me was the Sarah factor! What a gem, she was more than amazing. I often stay in 5 star hotels and did not expect 5 star service. Sarah was very professional- not over the top. Spending a bit of time in the lobby, I noticed all the staff frequently stopping by at reception to have a chat with Sarah, who was empathetic and real. I hope management knows what an asset they truly have. Well done Sarah!

Very nice room with a view. Couldn't be happier with the accomodations and price. Access to beach right out back Fantastic sunsets.What's not to! like!

Great stay. I got a beachfront room with a jetted tub. I opened the sliding door to hear the ocean while I relaxed in the tub. Easy access to the beach and downtown. Staff was around cleaning by 8am and someone was sweeping the parking lot - this was great to see considering I was walking to the beach barefoot.

Our room was on the 5th floor with an Ocean view, nice kitchenette very small bathroom. Clean in the bed was very comfortable. Did not feel very welcomed. The staff is always too busy on their phones. Tried the restaurant and was very dissatisfied. It might just be because it's the end of the season and everyone's tired. It would be nice if it offered Continental breakfast. This is a photo of my French toast. When the waitress asked how breakfast was, I asked her if she would eat what I was served. She picked it up with her fingers and walked off to the kitchen. She did refund $10 which was nice but I was sure hungry for French toast lol

My boyfriend and I got a really lovely King Suite with a Jacuzzi in it, which had an ocean view. For the price, it was great! There was plenty of hot water (which I worried about, with the size of the tub!) and our room remained quiet despite people in the hotel with tons of dogs and kids. It was all clean and comfortable. Most of the room was in great repair, but the patio door was very hard to open and close, which definitely took away some of that luxury feeling. The biggest issue we had was breakfast (on the one day we wanted to go take advantage of the free hotel breakfast) was not out as scheduled, nor were there any employees out at the cafe/breakfast area when I went down at 9am. It wasn't a huge deal, but definitely would have been annoying if I had been really relying on it, or had paid extra for it. Otherwise, this is exactly a 3-star hotel - do not expect a concierge or anything too fancy/extra aside from what, specifically, is outlined in your room amenities. It is also a beach hotel - which is to say it is full of kids and animals at all hours, so take this into account if you want to use the pool or hot tub area. The location is wonderful if you want to visit Seaside - we hardly had to drive at all. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay again!

We spent a wonderful weekend here. The room was gorgeous, clean, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. Safety felt top priority — everything was secure, and staff were attentive. The meals and drinks were a highlight, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Staff assistance was exceptional; they helped me plan a surprise event seamlessly. Noteworthy features like cozy fireplaces, scenic views, and serene common areas added to the charm. The location allowed us to unwind while still being close to attractions. From check-in to departure, everything was smooth and welcoming. Highly recommended.
